Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: October 27, 2026
You should be able to browse the menu, check store hours and reach Joyology however you use the web: by keyboard, with a screen reader, with zoomed-in text or on a phone. This page covers what’s built into the site, what we’re still fixing, and how to reach the team at Joyology Lake Orion, on Bald Mountain Rd in Auburn Hills, or Joyology Mt. Clemens if something gets in your way.
Our goal
We aim for www.orderjoyology.com to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We’re not there on every page yet, and the sections below say where we still fall short.
What’s built into the site
- Skip to content. Each page starts with a “Skip to content” link that jumps past the header.
- Visible focus. Links and buttons show an outline when you reach them by keyboard.
- Menus and pop-ups you can use by keyboard. The mobile menu button tells screen readers whether the menu is open. While it’s open, Tab stays inside it, Escape closes it, and focus goes back to the button. The 21+ age check and the store picker open as dialogs that keep keyboard focus inside until you choose or close them.
- Clear structure. Every page declares English as its language and marks the main content and the primary, mobile and footer navigation as separate, labeled regions.
- Text alternatives. The Joyology logo has a text alternative, social media icons have spoken names, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Labeled sign-up. The email sign-up field has a label your screen reader announces.
- Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site turns off the loading animation, scrolling banners and other decorative movement.
- Zoom and small screens. The site doesn’t block pinch-zoom or browser zoom, and layouts adjust to fit a phone screen.
- Contrast themes. In Windows contrast themes, the header, the menu button and the current-page marker in the navigation stay visible.
The site relies on HTML, CSS, WAI-ARIA and JavaScript to work with your browser and assistive technology. Keep JavaScript turned on so the menus and the 21+ check work.
What we’re still improving
Color contrast is one area we’re still improving. Some brand colors, including the greens, the bright lime and the orange we use for links, may not meet WCAG contrast on every background they appear on. We’re working on the pairings that fall short.
If you find a page, button or image we’ve missed, tell us. Reports from shoppers help us see what to fix first.
Online menus from Dutchie
The live menus, cart and checkout on the Joyology Lake Orion menu and the Joyology Mt. Clemens menu run on Dutchie, a third-party ordering platform embedded in our pages. Dutchie builds and controls how the menu works, so some issues inside it are outside our direct control. Tell us about anything that blocks you there so we can pass it on to Dutchie.
If the online menu isn’t working for you, you can still get help:
- Call Joyology Lake Orion at (248) 997-5777 or Joyology Mt. Clemens at (586) 723-0123. The team can walk you through what’s on the menu and answer your questions.
- Walk in and order at the counter, where a Blissologist can show you what’s in stock. You must be 21+ with a valid government-issued photo ID.
Addresses, hours and directions are on the Joyology Lake Orion store page and the Joyology Mt. Clemens store page. For the online steps, see how to order ahead for in-store pickup.
